About the event

Want to craft some gorgeous earrings with polymer clay by hand? Learn to use polymer clay at MK Café’s latest creative workshop, with various colours available on the night! This class is being run by skilled hands from Infatuate Creative.

There’s nothing quite like making something with your own two hands. Just remember to keep one hand free for a nice, cool glass to keep you creative!

While you create the next wonder of the world, enjoy a delicious meal from the Sip ‘n’ Dip menu cooked up by the phenomenal staff at The MK Café! (Menu at the bottom).

$60 deposit paid now, the remaining $25 paid on the night at the venue.

We provide everything! Included in your class fee are:

  • All materials needed to create your masterpiece
  • Use of equipment
  • Step by step guided art class
  • Dinner from the MK Café - Sip’ n’ Dip menu
  • A glass of wine
  • Your fantastic art teacher
  • Your creations to make and take home!

PLEASE NOTE: *You will bake and assemble at home - fittings will be available to take from class*

Please arrive a few minutes early so you can meet your fellow sip ‘n’ dippers. Grab a seat, wine and unwind, then soak up the chilled vibe before the start of the class.

There are parking places available close to MK Café at New Farm Park, with a bus stop across the road (Bus 195 & 196).

As a reminder, classes are designed as a time-out to allow people to loosen up, and you are welcome to bring your kids (if they are registered ticket holders). Still, we encourage you to leave toddlers and babies with babysitters, so you can fully enjoy a fun experience and allow others to do the same.

If you are a creative at heart and want to go off the beaten track with your piece, we are absolutely supporting you to do that!

There are a few things to be aware of for every booking, and you can find them below:

CLASS FAQ

Colours

We will assign guests the colours they choose with their tickets. We stock the entire range of Mont Marte clays - you can review the colours on our website here. Once you know, please email us your choice of colours - you will need 5 for this class. You can also pre-purchase stock and supplies via our website and choose ‘click and collect’ to have them brought to class for you without paying postage.

What to wear to class?

We can not provide aprons due to current COVID regulations, so we encourage you to consider supplying your own apron for the class.

Can I opt out of the meal?

No, the meal is part of the ticket price, and the $25 is due on arrival regardless of if you plan to participate in the meal component. You can not opt in or out of paying for the $25 on arrival.

What happens if I can’t make it?

This event is a contractor class; all standard Sip ‘n’ Dip terms and conditions apply. If you cannot attend and provide 48 hours notice, we will give you credit on a 12-month expiry that you can use ONLY with Infatuate Creative contractor classes (NOT the general Sip ‘n’ Dip line up). Refunds do not apply due to the expensive nature of supplies and limited class size.

Are other colours available?

This event is a specialist class designed to allow you to make this particular set of colours. If you would like to request another set of colours before you purchase your ticket, please email hello@sipndip.com.au with your request.

What size is this class?

This class is capped strictly at 20 people. Book early to avoid disappointment. We will not extend class sizes for any reason. This technique requires a restricted class for the best possible experience for the guests.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS TICKET

Please take a moment to read our ticket sales terms and conditions located here.

These are also published on our Facebook page under info, as one of the autoresponder questions on Facebook messenger, in our website’s Frequently Asked Questions section and on every event listed.

Our responsibility is to publish these terms & conditions and make them easily accessible. Your responsibility as the guest is to read these terms & conditions before purchasing your ticket to ensure that you agree with them, including terms & conditions related to bad weather, COVID 19, Lockdowns, Cancellations, intellectual property & refunds. Due to the high number of no-shows and the financial implications that no-shows have on our business, we adhere to this policy to the letter and will not deviate from our agreed policy.

To avoid disappointment, please ensure you are familiar with our terms & conditions before making your purchase, and if you have questions before doing so, contact accounts@sipndip.com.au.

ONLINE SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you are purchasing this ticket as part of an online sale, please read the online sale terms and conditions located here.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

To help customers prepare for their classes, we include a comprehensive frequently asked questions section of our website. You can locate that here. Please allow the page up to 5 seconds to load as it can initially appear as blank for those with different internet speeds and/or browsers.

GROUP BOOKINGS

If you purchased more than one seat, you would automatically be grouped with those seats (even if you made them in separate transactions) if you list them on your booking.

If you would like to be grouped with other attendees in particular (your friend paid for their ticket), just let us know their name, and we will be sure to seat you together! But in the event you forget, don’t stress, on arrival, we ask if you are placed with friends and pop you in together, so you enjoy your class as a group.

NDIS SUPPORT

We want to see more inclusive art classes available here in Brisbane. More creativity, experiences, and confidence boost more love of art for more people. Whilst we are NOT registered to become providers, we work with people on the NDIS regularly to help connect people with art, and we are so excited to have the ability to be part of the story of the vibrant and inclusive art community here in Brisbane. To access the NDIS for your classes, please book as standard and provide your invoice to your plan manager/coordinator. Most of our clients claim their fees under Class: Innov Community Participation.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

As per the terms & conditions of this ticket, if we have to cancel the event, we will always offer you a full refund. Cancellations are few and far between; however, it is essential to know that some venues require a minimum of 10 people, so if we don’t make that number by the day of the event, we will let you know before 12 pm that day (VIA EMAIL) that it has been cancelled, postponed or provide you details if we managed to find an alternate venue. Please ensure you keep an eye on your email for any changes.

COVID & STOCK

COVID-19 has dramatically affected stock supplies; we order stock well in advance of planned classes but are very aware that there are unplanned shortages sometimes. Instead of swapping stock to something similar, we will reschedule the class to give you the experience you paid for. In the unlikely event that it happens, we will let you know via email.

NO SHOWS

If you book a ticket (paid or unpaid) and don’t show up, we do not offer a refund, and you are required to pay for your class. We do not offer discounts because we have to purchase supplies before the class to account for your attendance.

If you let us know at least 48-hours in advance of the class, we will happily transfer your ticket to another event or offer you a credit to use at any of our classes within the purchasing region. But we do not offer refunds.
