Have you ever wondered about polymer clay and what's involved in creating cute custom pieces? This class is for you.

No previous experience is required, we will cover the basics of polymer clay & how to assemble a slab which you will use to create earrings. It's lots of fun.

$85 TOTAL COST ($50 DEPOSIT TO BOOK AND $35 DUE AT EVENT)

Included in your price of this ticket is:

- A super easy step by step polymer clay class run by your fabulous teacher

- All the equipment and materials you will need for the workshop

- Unlimited earrings to make during class time

- a collection of fittings to take home to assemble your earrings once baked

- a link to the assembly instructions (located here)

- A glass of wine from the sip n dip menu

Class Agenda

6-7pm - Eating your meal (& choosing your clay and colours)

7-8pm - Make time to assemble your slab then to cut your pieces from it

8-8.30pm - choosing your findings

This class is timed carefully, when the teacher announces 30 minutes until make time is over please take note. The process in this class that will be followed is the creation of a variety of polymer clay pieces, the assembly of a design on a slab base, the combining of these pieces, and the cutting of these pieces from the slab in preparation for baking. You will take home a box filled with pieces ready to bake and assemble - after CAREFULLY baking your work following the instructions provided, this instruction sheet will assist you with baking instructions (located here).

CLASS FAQ

Colours

We will have a variety of clay colours on the day, we do not guarantee the colour you want will be there but we stock the entire Mont Marte range and most of this range will be available at any particular class.  Sometimes one colour is more popular during a class, clay will be first in best dressed if we run out of a colour you wanted because it was particularly popular during a class, you will need to choose from what is available. You can also pre-purchase stock and supplies via our website and choose 'click and collect' to have them brought to class for you without paying postage - you can see the link for polymer clay supplies here.

Parking

At this time of day, there is ample street parking available directly opposite the venue and more behind the building.

What to wear to class?

We can not provide aprons due to covid regulations and so we encourage you to BYO an apron if it is your preference. You will be seated outside at this venue. During summer this is gorgeous, during winter it's still gorgeous but a little on the chilly side so wear something warm and enjoy a glass of vino to warm yourself up!

Can I pre-order a meal?

No, the venue provides a special discounted menu for Sip 'n' Dip Classes. If you have special diatary requirements you can contact the venue direct.

What size is this class

This class may vary from 10-40 people depending on any given night. We send additional teachers when class sizes are larger.
